Our Post Improvement Project
One of our members has volunteered to provide up to $12,000 over the next year if other Post members will be willing to step forward to assist. Each dollar donated by any of our members will be matched up to the total of $12,000 over the next 12 months. We have already had pledges totalling over $10,000 from individual members, for which we are very grateful. In addition, the 40 & 8 has graciously offered $1200 over the next year. We are heartened by such a great early response as the project as barely gotten off the ground! A fundraising thermometer is mounting in the cafeteria area to show our progress.
We have already started remodeling one of the Ladies' restrooms to make it more accessible for the handicapped. We are forming an improvement committee to develop, review, and prioritize possible projects. We would love to receive suggestions from our members. Any written suggestions can be left with our manager, Chelly who will insure the committee gets them. 5-1-2016
