                                       CODE OF CONDUCT

                            AMERICAN LEGION POST #51              12-31-14

 

  • ALL WHO ARE NOT AMERICAN LEGION MEMBERS MUST BE SIGNED IN BY A MEMBER OF THE POST OR UNIT AND MUST LEAVE WHEN THE MEMBER LEAVES.

     

  • MINORS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POST CLUB ROOM (BAR) AND IF ATTENDING A FUNCTION OR DINNER WITH THEIR PARENTS, THE NORMAL CURFEW IS 9:00 PM.

 

  • THE BARTENDERS ON DUTY ARE IN CHARGE OF THE CLUB AND BAR.THEY HAVE THE AUTHORITY AND THE OBLIGATION (OLCC) TO TAKE AWAY YOUR DRINKS AND TO DIRECT YOU TO LEAVE THE PREMISES IF YOU’RE CONDUCT SO INDICATES.

 

  • LOUD, ABUSIVE, PROFANE LANGUAGE AND DISRUPTIVE CONDUCT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND WILL BE CAUSE FOR EJECTION FROM THE PREMISES.

 

  • INTENTIONALLY DAMAGING LEGION PROPERTY, WRITING ON THE WALLS, ETC. WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.SUCH ACTIONS ARE GROUNDS FOR EXPULSION AND WILL BE DELT WITH AS THE MANAGER OR THE E-BOARD DIRECTS.

 

  • PHYSICAL OR AGGRESSIVE CONTACT, GRABBING, THROWING ITEMS, OR FIGHTING ARE NOT ALLOWED AND WILL RESULT IN THE SUSPENSION OF CLUB PRIVILEGES AS FOLLOWS:

1ST OFFENSE – 90 DAYS MINIMUM

2ND OFFENSE – 1 YEAR

3RD OFFENSE – PERMANENT

 

THESE GUIDELINES ARE GENERAL AND MAY BE INCREASED BY THE E-BOARD IF THE BOARD FEELS AN INCREASE IS WARRANTED.

 

A copy of this “Code of Conduct” will be sent to each new member along with their membership card.
