| Commanders Input
This bulletin will be for the months of June and July 2005. There will be no general meetings June through August. The next general meeting will be in September. A new slate of officers were elected at April's general meeting. Please read the Post Examiner for the list of names of new officers. I'll mention Memorial Day because it is special for the Post. If you didn't attend the ceremony at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, you missed a grand display of National Flags. The Oregon Dept. Convention is coming up in the middle of June. The city of Pendleton is the location. I'm sure the meeting will be educational. Our membership has reached a milepost: 1000 paid up member. It will not reach the Department's goal, but I am please with 1000. Remember the Post and the Club will be open during the summer. The dinners, dances, bingo and the bar will all be open for business. A new air conditioner will make the Post coo. So take advantage of the Post facilities. They're well worth it. Report
Our membership is now at 1000. We are still 85 members short of our goal of 1085. We still have about 37 days until Department Convention, so please pay your dues to help the Post out. I have heard people say "I don't go to the Post that much so I am not going to pay my dues." Your membership helps with our programs such as Children and Welfare and also helps the Veterans. So please reconsider and pay your 2005 dues. Thank you. Dave Standley, Post #51 Adjutant |
Key
Cards
Due to the Key Cards cost of $6.00 each, we will be raising the cost of the Key Card for the Auxiliary and S.A.L. members to $6.00 for a new card and $6.00 for replacement cards. (Lost or damaged). Your card will still be good for life at this cost to you as long as your current dues are paid. |
